5.5 billion unencrypted texts are sent every day. But what many people don’t know is that sending an SMS text does not guarantee total privacy. So if you’re sending an SMS text, you might as well be strapping your private messages onto a pigeon, tossing it out the window, and hoping no one ever reads them.

To make our point, we created a new pigeon-inspired shipping method and caught real people unaware with hidden cameras. We then let them know that WhatsApp uses end-to-end encryption, which will always keep their private messages completely private.
